WHY IT BECAME NECESSARY:
NO FARMING, NO NATION!!
In collaboration with the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture, and Associated Press, Ilupeju, we commissioned an integrated Farming Project (Fish Farm & Poultry). We aim to develop vocational skills in the School and so that they become “studentpreneures”.
Some of the benefits that have accrued to our School since we started this laudable project a few years back include:
1. Students have used this facility to improve their performance in the Fishery Examination. The percentage pass in the Fishery Examination rose from 50% to 97% within one year.
2. Students have been empowered to become “entrepreneurs” with proficiency in Vocational Education.
3. The overall percentage performance of our students in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE) judging by the recently released results rose from 3% in the last year to 50% in 2023.
Please support the Fish Farming Project in Ilusec.
Present at the commissioning ceremony are the Principals, Students and Staff of the Junior and Senior Secondary Schools, members of Ilusec Alumni, leadership of the Parents’ forum for the School, and dignitaries from Education District 6, Lagos such as Alhaji Anifowose, Director, Admin & Human Resources, who represented Tutor General, and Permanent Secretary, (Dr. Mrs. Shareefah Adejoke Yusuf); Mr. Paul Legbeti, Director, co-curricular activities, Science & Technology among others.

Congratulations on a worthy project for your Alma Mater. This will surely lift the school for years to come if they can run and manage it well.
